What is crossfit?
CrossFit is a style of exercise that is constantly varied, includes functional movements (movements that are similar to things you do everyday), and is high intensity. Workouts typically include a combination of bodyweight movements, cardio, and weightlifting. Don’t worry if there’s a movement that you can’t do, or aren’t comfortable doing, every movement can be modified to be safe, effective and fun so that you have the best workout for you!
What should I expect from class?
Generally, class starts with an overview of the WOD (Workout of the Day) from one of our coaches. WODs will vary day to day, and sometimes will include a strength session. Our coaches will walk through the warm-up, strength (if applicable), and WOD, and will offer scaling suggestions. Then it’s time to get to work! You will move through the warmup to get your body ready, then through the workouts. Don’t worry, our coaches will be there throughout the class to ensure that you are safe, sweating, and having fun! How do I join?
We offer 5 free classes to anyone that would like to come try us out! Click the “Ready to Join Us?” button at the bottom of this page and fill out the contact form to let us know when you’d like to attend your first trial class. Once you arrive, we will have you fill out a waiver and answer any questions that you may have. After your 5 free trial classes we can help you get signed up! Memberships are typically on a month to month basis, which includes unlimited classes. We hope you’ll come check us out!
